College LGBT/GSA Group Resources
College LGBT Groups are student-led organizations which provide a safe place for students to meet, support each other, talk about issues related to sexual orientation, and work to end homophobia. They educate student populations about LGBT issues and work to address anti-LGBT harassment on their campuses and promote the safety and respect for ALL students.

In Iowa, two universities have university-funded offices and programs dedicated to LGBT issues.: Iowa State University (established in 1992) and the University of Iowa (established in 2006). Many Iowa colleges have multicultural education and diversity centers that touch upon LGBT student concerns and issues.
