Educator/Advisor Resources
The Iowa Pride Network educates policy makers and educators on issues facing LGBTQA students and advocates for the interests of these students on the state and local levels. Iowa Pride Network staff are available for presentations at conferences or smaller events and coordinates its own conferences and training sessions.

1. Advise a Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA)
A Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) is a student-run club, which provides a safe place for students to meet, support each other, talk about issues related to sexual orientation, and work to end homophobia.

2. Network with GSA Coalitions
The Iowa Pride Network Coalitions brings Iowa's LGBT groups together to strengthen the organizations, work on coordinated activities across the state in order to show community and solidarity, and provide a voice for LGBT students in the state of Iowa.
