regional coalitions 2011-12
The mission of the Regional GSA Coalition is to bring together lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied (LGBTA) youth to fight homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia on campus and in the community. In addition to providing social networking opportunities and a safe space, the coalition serves to fill the information gap regarding LGBT history, persons and events while cultivating culturally competent leaders who will shape an inclusive LGBTA social justice movement.

There are currently six active GSA Coalitions located in Iowa. All LGBTQA youth/students from Iowa or any other state is welcome to attend these meetings. Because we are a Youth Driven organization, we ask that only people below the age of 25 attend these meetings.
