The Iowa Pride Network’s college grant program and direct support has been crucial in helping Wartburg College’s Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) achieve success. With their help we’ve strengthened our programming and have increased attendance.

Additionally, Iowa Pride Network’s organizing events; such as regional meetings, conferences and leadership trainings, have helped us to increase student activism in our college and community. I personally feel empowered through the support I receive from the Iowa Pride Network and am motivated to advocate in schools and communities as a precursor to my teaching career.
